The Hyundai Veloster is a sleek hatchback that is highly functional and includes a convenient rear passenger-side door.

The Veloster is offered in six trims: 2.0, 2.0 Premium, Turbo R-Spec, Turbo, Turbo Ultimate and N. The 2.0 and 2.0 Premium are powered by a 147-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, the Turbo trims get a 201-hp 1.6-liter Turbo engine and the N comes with a 250-hp 2.0-liter Turbo engine. The 2.0, Turbo R-Spec and Turbo Ultimate come with a six-speed manual transmission standard with an available six-speed automatic optional on the 2.0 and a seven-speed dual-clutch auto-shift transmission available on the Turbo Ultimate. Standard transmissions on the 2.0 Premium is a six-speed automatic transmission, the Turbo comes with a seven-speed dual clutch-auto-shift and the N gets a six-speed manual transmission with rev-matching. A multi-link rear suspension is standard on all. Safety equipment includes six airbags, traction control, stability control, and driver's blind spot mirror. Other safety features, depending on trim, include Blind-Spot Collision Warning, Lane Keep Assist, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Driver Attention Warning, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning and Pedestrian Detection. Standard equipment on all include a rearview camera, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay capability and Bluetooth. The remaining trims also get 18-inch alloy wheels, Clari-Fi, Siri Eyes-Free, 8-inch monitor with BlueLink, Infinity audio system with SiriusXM, 8-speakers and proximity keyless entry with push button start. The 2.0 Premium, Turbo and Turbo Ultimate also include a power sunroof and auto climate control. Turbo Ultimate adds leather seats, voice activated navigation and a head-up display with sport mode. The N distinguishes itself with unique front and rear fascia, side skirts and rear spoiler. The N Corner Carving differential, N Custom mode and N Grin Control System drive mode selection system is also unique to this trim.

For 2020, the Hyundai Veloster adds Blind Spot Collision Warning as standard on the R-Spec and Qi charging pad is now standard on Turbo and Turbo Ultimate trims.
