Hyundai on Hunt Club is committed to providing an accessible and inclusive environment for employees, customers and visitors with disabilities.
We are committed to identifying, preventing and removing accessibility barriers and to meeting the requirements of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) and the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation.
Our goal is to ensure that people with disabilities are treated with dignity, respect and independence and have equal opportunity to access our services and workplace.
1. Customer Service
Goal: Provide accessible and respectful service to all customers and visitors.
Actions
- Continue to provide accessible customer service training to employees.
- Remind employees that customers with disabilities may request assistance or accommodation.
- Allow service animals and support persons in accordance with applicable requirements.
- Provide reasonable assistance to customers who require help navigating the dealership.
- Provide information in an accessible format when requested.

2. Employment
Goal: Provide an accessible workplace and support employees with disabilities.
Actions
- Continue to notify applicants and employees that accommodation is available throughout the recruitment and employment process.
- Provide individual workplace accommodations when required.
- Review accommodation requests promptly and respectfully.
- Provide accessible emergency information to employees who require it.
- Include accessibility and accommodation information in employee onboarding.

3. Training
Goal: Ensure employees understand their accessibility responsibilities.
Actions
- Provide AODA-required training to employees.
- Provide training on accessible customer service and the Ontario Human Rights Code.
- Provide additional accessibility training when required based on an employee’s duties.
- Keep records of training completed.
Timeline: Ongoing

4. Physical Accessibility
Goal: Maintain a dealership environment that is accessible to customers, employees and visitors.
Actions
- Regularly check accessible parking spaces and ensure they remain available for people who require them.
- Keep accessible entrances, pathways and customer areas clear of unnecessary obstacles.
- Check that accessible doors and entrances are functioning properly.
- Address accessibility issues identified by employees or customers as soon as reasonably possible.
- Include accessibility considerations when planning renovations or changes to the dealership.

5. Communication and Information
Goal: Make dealership information easier for people with disabilities to access.
Actions
- Provide documents and information in an accessible format upon request.
- Offer reasonable communication supports when required.
- Use clear and simple language in customer and employee communications whenever possible.
- Ensure employees know who to contact when a customer requests an accessible format or communication support.
Timeline: 2026–2030

6. Website and Digital Accessibility
Goal: Improve accessibility of digital information.
Actions
- Work with Dilawri’s appropriate corporate or digital team to address accessibility issues with dealership web content.
- Consider accessibility when adding or updating digital content.
- Provide alternative methods of obtaining information when a customer cannot access information online.
Timeline: 2026–2030

7. Feedback and Complaints
Goal: Make it easy for people to provide feedback about accessibility.
Actions
- Continue to provide customers and employees with a way to provide accessibility feedback.
- Respond to accessibility concerns in a timely manner.
- Use feedback to identify and remove barriers.
- Review recurring accessibility concerns and take reasonable steps to prevent them from happening again.

8. Procurement and New Projects
Goal: Consider accessibility when purchasing products, services or making changes to the dealership.
Actions
- Consider accessibility when purchasing equipment, furniture, technology or services where applicable.
- Consider accessibility when planning renovations or major changes to the dealership.
- Where practical, choose products and services that can be used by people with different accessibility needs.
Timeline: 2026–2030
Responsibility: Management / Purchasing
9. Emergency Procedures
Goal: Ensure employees with disabilities can receive appropriate emergency assistance.
Actions
- Provide individualized workplace emergency response information when required.
- Review emergency procedures when an employee’s accommodation needs change.
- Ensure relevant managers and supervisors are aware of any required emergency accommodations.
Timeline: Ongoing

10. Review of the Accessibility Plan
Dilawri Hyundai will review this Multi-Year Accessibility Plan at least once every five years and will update it as required.
Feedback from employees, customers and other individuals with disabilities will be considered when reviewing the plan.
The plan will be made available to the public and will be provided in an accessible format upon request.
